bellfreexx: I hate being called baby, but he does it all the time and I feel like I would be such a prude to tell him that it irritates me. Hun is good, but I don't think I've ever come across a petname that I was really fond of. Maybe I'm just selfish and like to be addressed by my own name.

I love darling because it's the most endearing to me. I used to hate petnames until one of my exes started calling me darling and sweetheart.

Personally I love it when my boyfriend says "hey there, pretty lady" when he sees me, and I know it's just a friendly gesture but a guy I work with calls me sweetheat. Even though we're obviously not romantically involved, pet names are still cute and make your heart jump a little when you hear them. (:

I don't like being called love, it feels kinda sarcastic to me. I like baby or honey. Of corse it all depends on who is the one saying it :)
