(once upon a time) i used to be best friends with this boy.

and we were really close. and we told each other everything.

but then one day he told me that he "liked" me. and that changed everything.

it hurts so much to know that i'm not part of his life anymore. i want to know him again. every time i've talked to him and asked him what happened he's said that he just doesn't know what to say to me anymore. he doesn't know what to say to me anymore. and that hurts.

it hurts to lose a friend.

it doesn't always have to be this way.

soccerchickjlsjl: about your friend, the exact thing happened to me. my best guy friend of three years asked me to be his girlfriend in winter of last year, and when i said no, our entire relationship fell apart. over the summer, we managed to put it back together, but it was never the same. eventually, he decided that if i didn't want to be his girlfriend, i didn't deserve to be his friend. we don't speak anymore and it breaks my heart. it still hasn't gotten easier :-/

but I just said to him that it was hurting me and I really didn't wanna lose him and he sorta got it and we are starting to get close to normal again!
